Beyond Focus:
A Renaissance in Photography - Vol 1

STEP 2

Scan or provide a digital RGB file of each image. Quality is the objective. Poor scans or up-sampled images will reduce your chances of having an image selected. They must be in high resolution format.

Name the file appropriate to the image (perhaps a plate name or number).

High resolution images are considered 300dpi and no larger that an 8" x 10". That means your image needs to be reduced if the original is larger than 8" x 10". In pixel dimensions, if you have an 8" x 10" image at high resolution the pixel size would equal 2400 x 3000 pixels. That calculation equals 300 pixels for every inch (i.e. a 5" x 7" would be 1500 x 2100 pixels). Email your additional questions to info@altphotopress.com
